The Dallas Cowboys will have to make do without running back Rico Dowdle for the remainder of their Sunday game against the New England Patriots.
Jon Machota from The Athletic reported that Dowdle sustained a hip injury and won’t be returning to the field for Week 4.
Dowdle’s contribution to the game was limited before his injury, as he managed to gain just nine rushing yards on three carries and caught one pass for eight yards.

Before this game, Dowdle had recorded 71 rushing yards on 17 carries and made three receptions for 42 yards.
He had also caught his first touchdown pass of the season in the previous weekend’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cowboys held a commanding 28-3 lead over the Patriots at halftime, they might not require Dowdle’s services for the rest of the game.
