The star of ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ has shared a complete self-portrait on Instagram for the first time since her weight loss surgery.
Tammy Slaton is proudly revealing her total transformation after losing weight.
On Tuesday, the 1000-Lb. Sisters celebrity uploaded a selfie in front of a mirror on Instagram, displaying her entire body for the first time on the platform since her weight loss surgery in 2022. In the photo, the 36-year-old is seen wearing a floral maxi dress.
Slaton later shared some of the kind messages she received in response to the photo on her Instagram Story, including a message from her fellow 1000-Lb. Best Friends star, Vannessa Cross.
“Go for it, girl! ” Cross said before adding in the comments, “
GIRL YESS QUEEN, you look amazing!!!! I’m so proud of you!!! It was not easy, trust me I know, but you did it!!!”
Another friend of hers reposted the picture with the caption, “I’m proud of you, Queen, you look fabulous .”

In recent weeks, Slaton has alternated between walking independently and using a wheelchair.
Most recently, the reality TV star shared a series of photos in which she is seated in a wheelchair, watching the sunset by the waterfront. In these photos, Slaton gazes out over the water, showcasing her pink dress and butterfly-shaped hair clip.
Before that, she was seen without her wheelchair, visiting her bariatric surgeon, Dr. Eric Smith, on his birthday and surprising him with a new milestone in her weight loss journey.
In an Instagram video, Slaton arrives at his office and proudly announces that she has finally abandoned her oxygen tube and is walking unaided. “Something’s missing!” Slaton exclaims as she walks and embraces Smith, pointing to her face.
“No oxygen! That’s awesome!” Smith exclaims before Slaton reveals that she has been without it for two weeks. Smith describes the moment as the “best birthday surprise.”

In May, Slaton reported feeling “great” as she continued to make significant progress following her weight loss surgery.
Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE, she discussed the milestones she has achieved since undergoing bariatric surgery in 2022 — a remarkable journey from her near-death experience prior to the surgery, during which she was placed on a ventilator and put in a medically induced coma after reportedly ceasing to breathe.
“I got smart and had my surgery,” Slaton told PEOPLE. “I built up enough strength in my lungs to have my trach [tracheostomy tube for breathing] removed, and recently, my doctor cleared me to be off my oxygen machine during the daytime.
“Now I only use my oxygen at night, along with my BiPap machine,” she mentioned. “I monitor my oxygen levels throughout the day and keep my machine on hand in case I need it.”
Slaton added, “I’m feeling fantastic! I’m grateful to be alive, and it’s exciting to see how much progress I’ve made.”
