Former Cowboys’ Second-Round Pick Kelvin Joseph Released by Miami Dolphins

The NFL’s constant roster adjustments persist, with the latest move seeing the Miami Dolphins parting ways with former Dallas Cowboys second-round pick Kelvin Joseph on Tuesday afternoon.

Joseph’s stint with the Cowboys was relatively brief after being selected early in the 2021 NFL Draft.

His time in Dallas included 36 career tackles, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

The Dolphins acquired Joseph in a trade that involved sending 2020 first-round pick CB Noah Igbinoghene to the Cowboys on roster cuts day during the offseason.

Despite the potential shown during his time at Kentucky, Joseph’s tenure in Miami was limited to four games, where he managed two solo tackles and no forced turnovers.

As Joseph seeks another opportunity in the NFL, his journey continues after experiencing setbacks with two different teams.

Once considered an intriguing prospect, his next destination remains uncertain, adding an element of intrigue to his future in the league.
