Dak Prescott and Charlotte Jones Lead Cowboys’ ‘Salute to Service’ Celebration

The Dallas Cowboys continue their steadfast commitment to honoring and supporting the military community by launching new NFL Character Playbook programming at AT&T Stadium on Tuesday, November 7. Over 700 high school students from North Texas will attend the event, hosted by Cowboys executive Charlotte Jones, who is also the franchise’s nominee for the “Salute to Service Award.” Joining her will be Dak Prescott, the 2022 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year.

The event will also feature distinguished guests, including Medal of Honor recipient Retired U.S. Army Captain Florent “Flo” Groberg and National Medal of Honor Foundation President and CEO Chris Cassidy. The educational program will emphasize students’ decision-making and choices, with a focus on instilling the Medal of Honor values of courage, commitment, and integrity.

The event will have a virtual component, allowing students and NFL teams from across the country to participate in this important educational initiative.

The NFL Character Playbook program is a collaborative effort with The National Medal of Honor Griffin Institute, situated at the future National Medal of Honor Museum, which is currently under construction near AT&T Stadium. The museum is set to open its doors in the spring of 2025.

On the football field, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys will face the Philadelphia Eagles in an upcoming game as they continue their season.
