Soap Comeback: Greg Rikaart and Judith Chapman Return to The Young and the Restless

‘Tis the season for family gatherings and festive squabbles over the last slice of pie, and the holiday spirit is in full swing for the award-winning cast of The Young and the Restless.

The Baldwin/Fisher family is set to reunite for the holidays, and an official photo shared on The Young and the Restless’ Instagram account captures the magic.

Emmy winners Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher), Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), and Tracey E Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) are elegantly attired alongside Judith Chapman (Gloria Fisher) and Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) in the released photo.

This heartwarming family reunion is scheduled to grace our screens about a month from now, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

While Greg Rikaart has been making waves on Days of our Lives as Leo Stark, his return to The Young and the Restless marks a special occasion.

The last time Rikaart graced the Y&R stage was in January 2023 for a festive episode celebrating Tracey E Bregman’s remarkable 40 years on the CBS soap.

Rikaart first appeared on Y&R on July 11, 2003, and he clinched a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Actor category in 2005. Despite his presence on Days of our Lives, rest assured that Rikaart is not bidding farewell to the show.

As for Judith Chapman, fans have been eagerly awaiting her return since her last appearance in January. Although her character, Gloria, was reported to be in Singapore in July when Michael rushed to her aid, her absence has not gone unnoticed by the residents of Genoa City.

Chapman debuted as Gloria in 2005 and has left an indelible mark on the soap opera landscape with her roles in Days of our Lives as Anjelica Deveraux, General Hospital as Ginny Blake Webber, and As the World Turns as Natalie Bannon.

With the anticipation building for the Baldwin/Fisher family reunion, fans are left wondering if the holiday celebration will be harmonious or if old family tensions will resurface.
