Dallas Cowboys executive Charlotte Jones has received the nomination as the franchise’s representative for the “Salute to Service Award presented by USAA.” This award recognizes a league member who has demonstrated an exemplary commitment to honoring and supporting the military community.

In an exclusive interview with, Charlotte Jones expressed her deep appreciation for being considered alongside other exceptional nominees from across the NFL who share a profound respect and gratitude for our service members. She highlighted the importance of this award in recognizing the sacrifices and service of men and women who courageously protect the country’s freedoms and liberties.

One of Charlotte Jones’ significant initiatives is her involvement with The National Medal of Honor Museum (NMOHM). She played a pivotal role in securing Arlington, Texas as the home for the NMOHM and currently serves as the Chairman of the NMOHM Foundation. Her objective is to create a permanent and fitting tribute to honor Medal of Honor recipients.

According to Jones, “The National Medal of Honor Museum celebrates the actions and legacies of the bravest of the brave. It provides a way to celebrate and honor them in perpetuity, while educating generations about what the Medal of Honor recipients have done to defend our way of life and live with great character and commitment to our country.”

Charlotte Jones’ leadership has been instrumental in a highly successful fundraising campaign for the museum, which included a significant $20 million contribution from the Jones Family Foundation. Her efforts have extended to advocating for the construction of a Medal of Honor monument in Washington, garnering unanimous bipartisan approval from Congress, as outlined in her “Salute to Service Award” profile.

The final recipient of the “Salute to Service Award” will be recognized at the NFL Honors show, scheduled to air during Super Bowl week. Dallas Cowboys fans can cast their votes for Charlotte Jones by visiting until November 30.
